Swiss Bike Trophy. Bern, Switzerland

It was my first time to race in Bern. The Bern Bike race is top class, situated in Gurten the course venue over looks the beautiful city of Bern.
At last if seemed the weather was on our side this weekend! Although Saturday was wet, on Sunday the sun shone and dried the course nicely.
The elite race was a tough one, we did 3 short start loops around the arena then headed out onto the main course for 7 full laps. I was around 10th for the first couple of laps but then managed to get to grips with the technical course and move up to finish in 5th place. Great feeling to get on the podium.
